At the annual meeting of the Delaware Contractors Association (DCA) on Oct. 27, 2004, the Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Richard M. Appleby and Robert S. Appleby, formerly of George & Lynch Inc. The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to individuals whose commitment and dedication to the association have been recognized for a substantial period of time.
The Applebys have long been recognized as leaders in the construction industry and the Delaware Contractors Association. The have attended many of the association’s events and have been long active in industry circles.
Robert Appleby is a former president of the association, and Richard Appleby chaired the DCS/DelDOT Liaison Committee for many years.
