Diane Jeffrey has joined the NationsRent Companies Inc. as vice president of human resources.

Jeffrey comes to NationsRent with 25 years experience in managing and directing all areas of human resources. In her most recent position at Fujicolor Inc. in Westchester County, New York, Jeffrey served as vice president of human resources, handling a broad range of responsibilities.

She began her career with Western Union as a compensation and benefits analyst and later served as chief labor negotiator with the Scott Corporation. In addition, she has held responsibility for employee relations, staffing and recruiting, benefits, compensation, payroll, HRIS and training.

She has worked in virtually every area of human resources, has worked with companies with employment over 10,000, and has strong experience with multi-unit retail and distribution organizations.

Commenting on Jeffrey’s hiring, John Malone, executive vice president of administration, stated, “Since human resources are of greatest importance to NationsRent with our team of 3,400 employees, we launched an intensive national search to fill our lead HR role.
