The staff of Ditch Witch of Georgia recently moved into their new facility at 5430 Hwy. 85 in Forest Park, Georgia.

The building sits on 6 acres of land just two miles from the old location. The building is easily accessed from both I-285 and I-75 on the south side of Atlanta.

The total square footage of the building exceeds 23,000 square feet, with 13,000 square feet dedicated to the shop area, more than 6,000 square feet to parts warehousing and 4,000 square feet to the office and parts counter/merchandising area.

The shop houses 10 bays with new equipment and tools, including state-of-the- art lifting equipment, which will benefit both the technicians and customers.

Prior to moving, Ditch Witch of Georgia operated out of two separate buildings. Seeing a need to improve customer convenience and to offer a “friendlier and more effective” environment, the company combined its services under one roof –– a top priority in its plans for future growth.

The new facility offers many improvements, from better traffic flow and parking to faster parts retrieval. Ditch Witch of Georgia incorporated an open plan into its parts lobby, making it comfortable for customers and employees. In addition to the parts counter, there is a display area for Ditch Witch of Georgia’s products.

“This is a much better environment for our employees and customers who have been loyal to us for the past 35 years,” said General Sales Manager Wade Bailey.

Ditch Witch of Georgia is a Barloworld company and is an authorized sales, service and parts distributor for Ditch Witch, McLaughlin, Yanmar and Stanley hydraulic tools. The company also has a branch facility in Savannah to serve customers in Southeastern Georgia.
