Doug Ryan has joined the team at North Country Auctions as auctioneer and heavy equipment sales specialist.

Ryan owned and operated Capitol Drilling & Blasting Inc. for 20 years and sold it in 1995 to Maine Drilling & Blasting. He owned and ran Capitol Construction Equipment and Supply for nine years and sold it in 2004 to Contractors Supply of Albany, N.Y. He worked for Yoder & Frey Auctioneers as the New England and Florida sales representative for 14 years.

For the past four years Ryan has been president and CEO of Ryan Auction Sales, an online auction company. He is past president of New England Chapter of Society of Explosives Engineers and also sits on the board of the NH Auctioneers Association and is a member of the National Auctioneers Association.
