Dynapac announced its return to the 16-ton asphalt roller category with the launch of the all-new CC7000 VI, the heaviest asphalt roller in the world.

With an operating weight exceeding 32,000 lbs., the CC7000 VI sets a new benchmark for power, performance and durability, according to Dynapac. The machine made its official debut at ConExpo 2026, expanding Dynapac's asphalt roller lineup.

Built for the most demanding large-scale applications, the CC7000 VI is engineered to deliver exceptional compaction results while maximizing productivity, according to Dynapac.

Equipped with Dynapac's Seismic Asphalt technology, the roller automatically adjusts vibration frequency in real time based on material stiffness — ensuring optimal compaction, reduced energy consumption and lower operating costs while operator comfort is enhanced from less shaking and less noise, according to Dynapac.

"Dynapac is excited to re-enter the 16-ton classification with a machine that pushes the boundaries of performance and efficiency," said Eric Booth, product marketing manager — compaction. "The CC7000 VI reflects our commitment to innovation and to delivering equipment that meets today's toughest job site requirements."

Operator-Focused Efficiency

Like all Dynapac asphalt rollers, the CC7000 VI is designed with the operator in mind. The operator station features a rotating and sliding seat with controls and display that move seamlessly with the operator, offering visibility and ergonomic operation throughout the compaction process, according to Dynapac. A large-capacity water tank further enhances productivity by minimizing refill downtime.

Seismic Asphalt: Dynapac's Patented Technology

Dynapac's Seismic Asphalt — available on tandem, oscillation and pivot-steer asphalt rollers — automatically harmonizes vibration frequency with the natural frequency of the asphalt layer. Key benefits include:

• improved compaction quality;

• reduced fuel consumption;

• lower CO2 emissions;

• extended machine life; and

• reduced operator adjustment.
