Emeco Equipment has hired Clark A. Moseley as president of the company’s U.S. operations.

Moseley will be responsible for the financial performance of Emeco Equipment USA, as well as the management of its U.S. locations in Houston, Atlanta and London, Ky. Emeco, an Australia-based company, specializes in the sale and rental of earthmoving and mining equipment.

Moseley comes to Emeco from North American Coal Corporation where he most recently served as senior vice president of business development and engineering. His tenure there started in 1985 as a senior mining engineer.

Over the next 11 years, Moseley worked in virtually all aspects of engineering, mining operations, strategic planning and new business development. A seasoned veteran, Moseley has worked in the mining industry for more than 30 years.

“It is a natural transition for me to move from managing mining operations and development to strategically partnering with those companies to supply heavy earthmoving equipment,” said Moseley. “I hope that my past experience will offer insight and efficiencies to our customers.”

“We are pleased to welcome Clark Moseley to the Emeco management team,” said Laurie Freedman of Emeco Equipment. “His intimate knowledge of the mining industry will be a tremendous asset as Emeco continues to grow its presence in the U.S.”

Emeco was established in 1972 with a focus on the earthmoving equipment necessary in the mining and construction industries. Headquartered in Australia, the company has operations in Canada, Netherlands, Indonesia and the United States.
