This year’s Hard Hat Show in Syracuse, N.Y., March 6 and 7, will see the U.S. debut of the Portafill 4000T track trommel unit.
The 4000T is a tracked trommel screen; its features include a 5 by 14 ft. (1.5 by 4.2 m) drum, a punch plate spiral drum and a changeable drum. Also included are fines and oversize stockpiling conveyors and adjustable self cleaning brushes.
A wheel undercarriage, tipping and vibrating grids and shredder all are optional.
The small footprint of the Portafill units allows them to be moved around from site to site without applying for oversize permits and makes them ideal for smaller facilities where space is at a premium, according to the manufacturer.
The Portafill range includes scalping screens, three way spilt screens, conveyors and an Impact crusher.
