Employees at Eriez’ Wager Road facility, located in Erie, Pa., have worked more than 1,000 days without a lost time accident. Since opening in February 2012, there has not been a single lost time accident at the Eriez Wager Road plant.

“It takes a high level of safety awareness to achieve such a goal,” said Tina Swanson, HR manager — safety and risk management. “We integrate safety into every aspect of our day-to-day operations. We work to keep employees engaged with ongoing safety updates and continually stress the importance of personal accountability.”

To celebrate this outstanding safety milestone, Eriez recently held a party for first and second shift employees at the Wager Road facility. Eriez’ Headquarters’ plant current record for days worked without a lost time accident is 1,309.

“The Wager Road employees are dedicated to trying to surpass this record,” said Swanson.
