The EZ-Screen 1000B, the newest screener from Argus Industrial Company, has proved to be just what the doctor ordered for a New Hampshire contractor.

Dave Marsters, a New Durham, NH-based general excavating contractor, recently purchased a 1000B from Chappell Tractor Sales.

When Marsters started looking for a screener he looked for a value-packed, easily transportable, highly productive machine. After checking out all the brands in the market, Marsters bought the EZ-Screen 1000B, one of the first in the market.

To get in and out of sites fast, Marsters was impressed with the unit’s ease of transport.

Productivity is critical, too. When he’s not on site excavating, he uses his 1000B working gravel pits.

Matched to his 1.5-yd. (1.3 m) Bobcat, the 1000B screens between 250 and 300 yds. (227 to 273 m) of 3-in. (7.62 cm) minus a day.

With a 10 hp (7.5 kW) Yanmar air-cooled diesel engine, patented non-hydraulic screen drive, and double-deck end tensioned 5- by 5-ft. (1.5 by 1.5 m) screens, the EZ Screen 1000B was the right choice for Marsters.
