FAE USA announced Dobbs Equipment is now the exclusive dealer of FAE PT tracked carriers in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina, with additional distribution in Alabama. This latest step in the partnership builds on an established relationship between the two companies in which Dobbs Equipment has carried FAE's full line of forestry and vegetation management attachments for years.

Both FAE USA and Dobbs Equipment have expressed their excitement about the new opportunities that this agreement will create, and they look forward to bringing these powerful machines to customers in the southeastern United States.

"FAE and Dobbs have worked together and supported each other over the years in various capacities," said Tom DuRant, FAE PT territory manager, Southeast. "By taking this next step in the partnership, we can both unlock our full potential towards mutual growth."

Dobbs Equipment is an authorized, full-service John Deere and Wirtgen Group dealer serving the Southeast. The company supports a wide range of industries, including the land management, industrial and construction sectors, with applications spanning residential, site development and road construction.

Since becoming a certified FAE dealer following its acquisition of Flint Equipment in 2022, Dobbs Equipment has built a strong and productive relationship with FAE, rooted in a shared commitment to quality products and customer service.

"We pride ourselves in representing the industry leaders in everything we do here, starting with John Deere," said Augusto Salles, Dobbs Equipment vice president of corporate sales and marketing. "We feel the same way about FAE. We want to represent brands that our customers feel confident in — brands that stand behind their equipment."

FAE PT tracked carriers rank among the largest, most powerful machines in the company's forestry and land management lineup. Ranging from 188 to 536 hp, these purpose-built machines are designed to tackle the toughest jobs, with the capability to efficiently process standing vegetation of up to 20 in. in diameter. With an oscillating undercarriage and a low ground pressure of only 5.8 psi, FAE PTs excel on uneven and challenging terrain, including swampy ground and steep slopes, according to the company. This makes them the perfect solution for large-scale land-clearing, fuel reduction for wildfire prevention, and right-of-way clearing and maintenance, according to FAE.

"The PT is a remarkable piece of equipment and is unmatched in what it does. Every minor detail of this machine is engineered with operator comfort, serviceability and productivity in mind," DuRant said.

With the addition of FAE's PT line, Dobbs Equipment further expands the range of solutions it offers its customers.

"It's going to open up opportunities for us with land management contractors who prefer a purpose-built product," said Danny Stern, Dobbs Equipment allied sales manager. "Vegetation management is their core business. Without the FAE product, we probably don't have the opportunity to work with those customers."

Whether for government or large-scale land clearing firms or for contractors looking to take their operations to the next level, FAE and Dobbs Equipment are ready to clear the way for more effective, profitable vegetation management.

"The partnership between FAE and Dobbs represents the coming together of two organizations that share the same commitment to quality, customer support and long-term success," said Giorgio Carera, FAE USA CEO. "It is a true three-way partnership between FAE, Dobbs and our customers. Dealers and customers are our greatest assets, and by working together, we create lasting relationships that drive growth, profitability and success for all parties involved. Our goal is not simply to sell equipment, but to build partnerships that deliver value and support for years to come."
