Ferri Named to Foley Express Hydraulics Customer Support

Ed Poreda, customer support manager of the Construction Division of Foley Inc., the Caterpillar dealer in North Jersey, Staten Island and Bermuda, has announced that Jerome Ferri has accepted the position of customer support representative of Foley Express Hydraulics.

Ferri entered the equipment service industry in 1995 as a heavy-equipment technician. He spent several years gaining experience in the field and recognition as an outstanding performer.

In 2000, Ferri joined Foley Inc. as hydraulic shop foreman. In this position, Ferri oversaw day-to-day hydraulic operations while helping to launch Foley Express Hydraulics. His significant contributions included coordinating the development of a new hydraulics shop, implementing new contamination-control procedures, purchasing a new high-production cylinder hone bench, and developing a new hydraulic cylinder exchange program.

In his new role, Ferri will be able to leverage his technical knowledge and vast hydraulics experience to raise awareness of the capabilities of Foley Express Hydraulics among customers to help solve their hydraulics problems.
