Frey & Sons Auctioneers held a sale Oct. 6 for DiPietro Excavating Inc. at the company’s yard in East Canton, Ohio. DiPietro Excavating arranged the sale after the company decided to downsize its operations and looked to sell off excess equipment.

The auction was absolute and unreserved with the exception of a few items. A few additional consignments also were included in the auction. Among some of the featured equipment up for bid were late model Caterpillar and John Deere excavators, Caterpillar, John Deere and Komatsu dozers and a late model Volvo articulated dump truck as well as a selection of backhoes and skid steers.
