Golfers Raise More Than $10K for IAAP Political Committee

Pat Pagliocca accepts the second place award for the Anixter team, which had a score of 63. The team of Troy Kutz, Bluff City Materials; Larry O’Neill, Patten CAT; David Piehler, McAllister Equipment; and Jeff Lovgren, Astec Mobile Screens took third place. Accepting the first place trophy with a score of 56 was the Lafarge team of Dan Larson, Jason Chojnacki, Randy Bromberek and Jack Keeler. Second place, with a score of 60, went to the team of Meghan Ross and Josh Quinn, Bluff City Materials and Mike Linhart, Quad City Safety. Gerry Nagel, Brian Gormsen, Matt Morrison and Jerry Hepburn took the third place trophy for Hanson Material Service with a score of 62.

A beautiful day welcomed 184 golfers to the Sept. 28 golf outing held at Panther Creek Country Club and Piper Glen Golf Club in Springfield, Ill. Due to the strong support of everyone attending, this outing raised $10,920 for the IAAP Political Action Committee.

The golf outing offers a unique opportunity to have fun and visit with friends in the aggregates industry. Using a scramble format, the event proved to be highly competitive once again. In addition to golf, a delicious meal at the end of the day was concluded with recognition for the best scores and outstanding players at both courses, trophy awards and numerous raffle and door prizes. Everyone agreed it was a fine day to be playing golf. The 2016 IAAP golf outing is scheduled for Sept. 12.
