Groff Tractor & Equipment Inc., headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Pa., has made several changes to its central region staff. Mark Gilmartin has accepted the position of senior account manager at Groff Tractor’s newest branch in Frederick, Md. Corey Berkheimer has been promoted to senior account manager of the Mechanicsburg branch; Nate Bowersox and Brady Yingst both have recently accepted positions as general construction sales representatives in the central Pa. region.
Gilmartin began his career with Groff Tractor in 1992, when he was hired as a salesmen. Since his hiring more than two decades ago, Gilmartin has been an essential part of the sales team. His experience, expertise and knowledge will be coveted as he takes on his new role at Groff Tractor’s newest location.
As senior account manager, Gilmartin will be responsible for certain key account customers within the territory, while overseeing the sales force that covers all the counties serviced by the Frederick, Maryland branch.
“I am really excited for my new position as senior account manager. I look forward to meeting and working with our customers in the Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia areas,” said Gilmartin.
Corey Berkheimer has been with Groff Tractor for 11 years. Berkheimer has continually been one of Groff Tractor’s top salesmen and will be able to further his success as senior account manager. Berkheimer’s new role involves taking responsibility for certain key accounts in the counties associated with the Mechanicsburg branch. He also will oversee the sales force surrounding the Mechanicsburg branch.
“I look forward to using my knowledge and experience in sales to serve my existing and future clients in central Pennsylvania. I am excited for the opportunities this new role will bring,” said Berkheimer.
Recently, Nate Bowersox was brought on to take on the role of general construction sales rep. Bowersox’s responsibilities include the territories of York County, Adams County and the eastern half of Cumberland County. Prior to coming to Groff Tractor, Bowersox spent seven years with a competitive line.
Groff Tractor also made an addition to its Ephrata branch with the hiring of Yingst. Yingst’s new role is general construction sales rep of Lancaster County. Yingst will take on his new role under the guidance of Steve Weikert. Yingst brings years of sales experience to his new position.
The changes to the central region all came into play Oct. 1.
