Hapco broke ground on Aug. 4, 2026, on a new 270,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City, Okla., marking a significant expansion of the company's United States manufacturing footprint and reinforcing its long-term commitment to American manufacturing.
Van Hoose Construction is the project's general contractor. Completion is expected in late 2027.
The new facility will expand production capacity for aluminum lighting poles serving commercial, industrial, transportation, municipal, utility and OEM markets throughout North America. The project is expected to create more than 80 new jobs and strengthen Hapco's ability to support growing customer demand across the Central and Western United States.

The Oklahoma City facility will complement Hapco's headquarters and flagship manufacturing operations in Abingdon, Va., increasing domestic production capacity while enhancing logistics efficiency, operational flexibility and customer service.

The new facility is being developed at OKC 577 Commerce Park in Oklahoma City. The location provides Hapco with strategic access to major transportation networks and customer markets across the Central and Western United States.
Representatives from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, The Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance, OKC 577 Commerce Park, Pascal Aughtry & Associates, Van Hoose Construction, Cooper Project Advisors and SESCO Lighting joined Hapco leadership for the ceremony.
