Haver & Boecker Rocky Mountains moved its service center on May 15 from Chilliwack to Kamloops, British Columbia, and welcomed Darcy Fredrickson as an additional sales manager to better serve western United States and Canadian customers.

Haver & Boecker Rocky Mountains also now serves as the exclusive distributor of Major Wire Flex-Mat 3 in British Columbia.

“The addition of Darcy as our sales manager will provide our customers and sales team with a wide variety of support, from equipment servicing to parts availability,” said Markus Kopper, Haver & Boecker Rocky Mountains general manager. “This allows us to provide new and current customers continued fast response and yet it positions us for additional growth in the region’s mining industry.”

Haver & Boecker Rocky Mountains serves aggregate, mining and industrial mineral producers in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington, as well as British Columbia, Northwest Territories and the Yukon. The new location will continue to provide the equipment rebuilds, sales and service for which the company is known.

The move and expanded territory is possible with the recent addition of Fredrickson as a certified sales manager. Fredrickson brings more than 17 years of direct sales experience to this role and will assist Kopper in attending to customers throughout the region — from assisting existing clients to acquiring new business.

In addition to Fredrickson, the regional growth includes greater product availability, including Major Wire Flex-Mat 3 self-cleaning screens, which are constructed with independently vibrating wires bound with polyurethane. Each screen will ship the same day from Haver & Boecker’s Edmonton facility if ordered by 11 a.m. PST. And, Haver & Boecker Rocky Mountains will work closely with customers to develop lists of critical items to stock for quick availability and to minimize downtime, Kopper added.

“The position is an ideal fit for me because the values of Haver & Boecker align closely with mine when it comes to customer service,” Fredrickson said. “It’s a top priority. Whether we have to fly or drive to meet a customer for servicing, we will be there at the drop of a hat.”

Fredrickson and Kopper said they are excited and ready to meet the expanding needs from customers in mining and aggregate operations throughout the Rocky Mountains region.

“The additional sales staff, coupled with the new location and expanded product offerings, will allow us to better serve our customers with durable and efficient screening and material processing solutions,” Kopper said.
