Hawthorne’s Smith Wins Green Blazer Award

The Toro Company congratulated its 2008 distributor sales award recipients at the annual Toro awards presentation in February. The event was held in New Orleans.

Toro’s awards recognize distributor personnel for customer-focused sales programs in the turf equipment market.

Leonard Smith, of Hawthorne Pacific Corp., received the prestigious Green Blazer Award for his accomplishments in equipment sales.

This award is given to sales representative who has a minimum of three years experience selling Toro products. It recognizes individuals who are contributing to the industry and bringing enhanced knowledge to their customers.

“Leonard has a do-it-all philosophy, is self-motivated and energetic,” said Jim Heinze, director of Commercial Sales and Training for Toro’s commercial business. “His customers can count on him to help solve their problems.”

Hawthorne Pacific Corp. serves Hawaii, Guam and Saipan with sales, rentals, parts and service of new and used CAT machinery and power systems. The company also represents Kubota, Toro, Club Car and other allied brands to complement its product line.
