HeavyQuip opened a new branch in Oklahoma as part of the company’s national expansion plan July 1.
Dave Beck, branch manager, indicated that the new 25,000 sq. ft. facility works as a low-overhead wholesale distribution center. Additionally, the facility has four loading docks.
“We take care of the states that are assigned to us,” Beck said. “But, we also are a wholesale distribution center that supports HeavyQuip’s wholesale/retail base market.”
The new branch is located at 4253 Will Rogers Parkway in Oklahoma City, Okla., and covers Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.
“This store will be supporting other stores like the ones in Kansas and Arkansas because they are full blown retail stores,” Beck said. “With the new facility, our branch has the space to carry the bulk of the inventory for those stores and still take care of our own customers.”
Beck indicated that the Oklahoma City warehouse carries undercarriage for all brands of crawler equipment, paver parts, rubber tracks, engine parts, final drive and transmission parts.
“We’re mainly a parts warehouse,” Beck said. “HeavyQuip has got so much in the way of parts and so much in the way of variety. This branch has access to all the inventory and we try to provide our customers with the very best service.”
