HI 750 Series Indirect Fired Heaters Boast High Net BTU Output

July 22, 2011 - National Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

The HI 750 series of indirect fired heaters from Wacker Neuson Climate Technology feature an adjustable air damper design. This delivers variable airflow ratings from 4,000 to 6,450 cfm. Offering up to 140F (60C) temperature rise, the new HI 750 Series is capable of heating up to 1 million cu. ft. (28,572 cu m) spaces.

With skid-mount and mobile models available, the HI 750 series heaters offer interchangeable air supply adapters — four 12-in. (30.5 cm), three 16-in. (40.6 cm), and two or three 20-in. (50.8 cm) outlets — giving contractors flexibility for directing heat to where it’s required.

Featuring Recircul-Air design with two or three 20-in. outlet air return adapters, the CSA-certified HI 750 Series indirect fired heaters pressurize the structure with make-up air, while allowing adjustable recirculation of warm inside air for increased fuel savings. A four-position switch allows for three operating modes — ventilation, heat with no thermostat and heat with thermostat — to optimize heat production or fuel economy.

The series’ optional “plug-and-play” burner kit offers a number of rental- and end-user-friendly features. The available burner kit provides simple conversion between diesel fuel and natural gas/propane, optimizing on-site flexibility. The machine’s static pressure gauge gives operators a quick glance of pressures to maximize heat delivery and avoid air output restriction. A spacious burner compartment offers easy access for servicing or for burner exchange.

The skid-mounted diesel HI 750 D and natural gas/propane HI 750 G models feature integrated forklift pockets and simple lift points for optimum mobility. Its compact design enables the heaters to fit through 36-in. (91 cm) door openings.

The self-contained mobile HI 750GM model comes complete with an enclosed 7 kW genset for protection from low ambient temperatures. It features a two-axle trailer mount with ball-hitch for quick transport to and from the job site. A large 119-gal. (451 L) fuel tank provides extended operating time between refueling.

Offering clean, dry heat, the HI 750 Series’ indirect fired heater design removes combustion by-products and moisture from the workspace, offering an ideal work environment for construction, residential and restoration applications. Their 100 percent stainless steel firebox and heat exchanger extends heater service life.
