Hoffman has announced a third season of NASCAR sponsorship. Hoffman/NASCAR racing was established to build and strengthen distributor/customer relationships. In venues across the country, NASCAR Racing, with 190-million television viewers and 6-million spectators nationwide, is the fastest growing spectator sport in the world.
Hoffman is back for the 2002 season with car No. 59, the Kingsford/MatchLight Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Winston Cup Series driver Stacy Compton. The 33-race schedule began Feb. 16 and runs through Nov. 16, 2002.
According to John Lindeen, Hoffman marketing manager Commercial Segment, “Hoffman’s NASCAR program provides great opportunities for distributors and end-users nationwide to participate in many race and show car-related events.”
Distributor open-house events provide regional rallying points where race fans can experience the excitement of racing in a simulator car and have the opportunity to win a NASCAR gift package that includes a race ticket and pit tour, hospitality events, promotional items and an introduction to the driver. In the 2002 season, the show car and traveling tradeshow will visit more than 200 locations in 47 states and two countries.
Many distributors took advantage of the program in 2001 to strengthen relationships with key customers by hosting an open house and joining Hoffman for a day of NASCAR Busch Series racing. The national, regional, and local media exposure of the racing program has increased customer awareness of new and existing Hoffman Commercial Products.
Hoffman manufactures a comprehensive range of electrical and electronic enclosures and accessories for commercial/contractor applications.
