It was a very exciting day for Howell Tractor and MI-JACK, whose owner is the Lanco Group, Mike Lanigan, co-owns the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team. The team had two cars in the Indy 500; number 15 car driven by Graham Rahal sponsored by Steak-N-Shake, and the number 32 car driven by Oriol Servia.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing is based in Hilliard, Ohio, and Brownsburg, Ind., and is co-owned by three-time IndyCar Champion and 1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal, Mi-Jack co-owner Mike Lanigan and CBS LATE SHOW host David Letterman. The team has been competing for over two decades, compiling 30 victories (20-IndyCar, 10-ALMS), 42 poles (29-IndyCar, 13-ALMS) and three series championships (1992-IndyCar, 2010 and 2011-ALMS), as well as claiming an Indianapolis 500 victory in 2004 with Buddy Rice.
