For contractors and municipalities looking to get more use from equipment already working during winter operations, the HS Series salt spreaders provide ice management solutions designed for skid steers, wheel loaders and agricultural tractors.

The lineup includes the HS100, HS200 and HS300, with each model sized for different carrier machines and applications. Self-loading capabilities across the series allow operators to use the same power unit already on site for snow plowing and transition it to spreading material for ice control.

The HS100 is designed for medium to full-size skid steers, compact wheel loaders and agricultural tractor loaders. The unit features a single hydraulic-drive stainless steel spinner and self-loading capabilities. For compact tractor applications, the HS100 also is available in 3-point-hitch and PTO-drive configurations.

The HS200 is designed for large skid steers and compact to mid-size wheel loaders. It features dual hydraulic-drive stainless steel spinners along with self-loading capabilities. A 3-point-hitch configuration also is available for use with larger agricultural tractors.

For larger ice management operations, the HS300 offers a 3 cu.-yd. capacity and is designed specifically for wheel loaders. The spreader features dual hydraulic-drive stainless steel spinners, direct-drive agitators and self-loading capabilities.

The combination of hydraulic operation, stainless steel components and self-loading designs provides users with a versatile approach to snow and ice management while helping maximize the utilization of existing equipment, according to HLA.
