The Hunyady Auction Company of Hatfield, Pa., held an absolute auction May 25 for the Modern Group Ltd in Farmingdale, N.J.
Although the Modern Group is exiting the short-term rental business, the company emphasizes it will still maintain new and used equipment inventories for all the manufacturers it represents, as well as maintain a full line of parts and in-house repairs and road service calls.
During the auction, bidders vied for an extensive selection of equipment, including New Holland mini-excavators and attachments; Caterpillar and New Holland skid steers and attachments; aerial lifts; trenchers; rollers; concrete equipment and accessories, scissor lifts and snow removal equipment. Also sold were shop tools, industrial forklift trucks, stand-by generators and other assets from the various operating divisions within the Modern Group.
