    Hunyady Holds Sale for Valley Excavating & Paving

    Hunyady Auction Company held a sale Nov. 7 in Hellertown, Pa.

    The auction was held for Valley Excavating & Paving, which after 33 years in business, its owners deiced to retire.

    More than 300 registered bidders, from 13 states, participated in the sale. Highlights included a 2005 Mack CV713 Granite tri-axle dump truck going for $91,000; a 2005 Caterpillar 953C crawler loader selling for $87,000; and a 2006 John Deere 160C-LC hydraulic excavator going for $77,500.
