Hy-Tek Material Handling Inc. has announced a new integrated systems team member with extensive supply chain expertise: Tony Mercurio, who will add depth to Hy-Tek’s project management teams and infrastructure as vice president, Systems Development.

Mercurio brings a client relationship development, distribution and manufacturing background with him — key industry perspectives Hy-Tek utilizes for clients when developing their integrated conveyor systems and storage and handling solutions.

“Innovative solutions and our award-winning client approach are what sets Hy-Tek apart,” stated Sam Grooms, president and partner of Hy-Tek Material Handling Inc. “Tony fits in with our partnership philosophies and will enhance our relationships with consultants as well.”

Mercurio is a member of the Council of Logistics Management and the Project Management Institute, and he has worked on high-profile accounts from coast to coast.

Hy-Tek is a material handling company celebrating its 41st anniversary as a leading integrated solutions supplier. Hy-Tek features its own in-house engineers and project managers as well as in-house installation teams who travel to job sites.

Hy-Tek has completed systems projects in 40 states as well as Canada and Mexico, working with consultants as well as in direct partnership situations. Mercurio hopes to continue Hy-Tek’s successful alliances with the industry’s leading consultant groups, as well as to be a leader behind systems engineered to meet the high-productivity demands of today’s economy.

“I’m very excited to add my personal stamp to the systems infrastructure at Hy-Tek,” said Mercurio. “Hy-Tek offers complete solutions development and implementation options, which transforms the competitive situations of our clients.”

Hy-Tek Material Handling Inc. also has branches with a system solution focus in Cleveland, Florence and Pittsburgh as well as its corporate headquarters in Columbus, OH.
