The owners of HydrauliCircuit Technology have created a new company that offers low-cost hydraulic hoses and fittings.
HydrauliQuip, based in Stockbridge, Ga., officially opened for business in January with Tim Monsrud as its sales manager.
He said the company’s affiliation with HydrauliCircuit allows it to buy in bulk and lower the cost to the customers. Even with the hard-to-find metric fittings and adapters will likely be in stock.
“We saw this as a need based on what our HydrauliCircuit Technology customers were asking for. They need fittings and hoses, as well as a finished product,” Monsrud said. “We’ve been fabricating hydraulic steel tubes in house for years, and now we can fabricate custom clamps and bracing for our customers. This is something that the competition does not do.”
He said the company can provide hydraulics and fittings for any machine from lawn tractors to heavy construction equipment. It offers products from a variety of manufacturers, including Parker and Manuli.
Monsrud said the company stakes its reputation on service.
“Pricing and service is pretty much everything in our business. We’ve been doing this type of work for over 10 years, day in and day out at HydrauliCircuit Technology. Now, HydrauliQuip will continue the reputation that has been built by the parent company. That’s my challenge and my job,” he said.
While the new division is only a few months old, its growth is already being planned.
“We’re already looking to the future of this business. We will be expanding our sales force and, with the addition of this new division, as well as the increase in volume of business at HydrauliCircuit Technology, plans are already in the works for building a brand new facility in metro Atlanta,” he said.
