HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America announced expansions in Mississippi and Kentucky to the dealership territory of Taylor Construction Equipment.

Taylor Construction Equipment, a division of the Taylor Group of Companies, Louisville, Miss., joined the Hyundai North American dealer network in 2021, representing Hyundai from locations in Mississippi and Tennessee. Earlier this year, Hyundai granted an expansion of Taylor's original territory to include parts of Indiana and Ohio.

In its newly enlarged territory, Taylor operates as a full-line Hyundai Construction Equipment dealership serving a 42-county section of Kentucky including the Louisville and Lexington metro area, and 13 additional counties surrounding the Jackson area, not included in its original Mississippi territory. Taylor now represents all but six northern counties in Mississippi.

"Taylor Construction Equipment is particularly proud to achieve nearly total coverage of our home state of Mississippi as a Hyundai dealer," said Tim Gerbus, sales manager, Taylor Construction Equipment. "In a larger sense, we're also excited to represent the Hyundai brand in a contiguous area that reaches from central Indiana and Ohio through Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi."

Taylor will serve its Kentucky customers from existing Taylor locations in Elizabethtown, Ky., and Cleves, Ohio (suburban Cincinnati). Taylor will cover its expanded Mississippi territory from an existing branch office in Richland and a new facility in New Albany.

Gerbus said that all Taylor locations in its expanded territory are stocked with Hyundai machines and parts and are ready to provide service.

"We look forward to a great, long-term partnership with Hyundai," Gerbus said, noting Hyundai's leadership in offering a full line of equipment that delivers fuel efficiency, ease of operation, dependability, productivity and high value.

"Together, Hyundai and Taylor Construction Equipment are on a fast track of growth and success," said Michael Ross, senior vice president of sales, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America. "We combine the equipment, support and financial services of Hyundai with Taylor's longstanding leadership in selling and servicing heavy equipment."

For more than 95 years, Taylor has provided its customers with high quality heavy equipment, parts and service support. Taylor offers its customers unmatched product support capabilities, with its 29 Taylor Sudden Service Inc. (SSI) locations throughout the Southeastern and South-Central regions, more than 360 mechanics and a service fleet of more than 250 trucks.
