The Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers (IAAP) held its 37th Annual Convention on May 12 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield, IL.

The event included the presentation of the association’s Rock Solid Safety Awards. Gold Award winners included: Beverly Materials, Central Stone Company, Fred Weber Inc., Illinois Cement Company, LeClaire Investments Inc. Material Service Corporation, Rein, Schultz & Dahl of Illinois, RiverStone Group Inc., Rockford Sand & Gravel, The Western Sand & Gravel Company and Vulcan Materials.

Silver Award winners included: Buck hart Sand & Gravel, Feltes Sand & Gravel, Iola Quarry, Meyer Material Company, Nokomis Quarry Company of Illinois, Prairie Material Sales Inc., Southern Illinois Stone Company and WMC Inc. Bronze Award winners included: Christian County Limestone Quarry, Keyesport Sand & Gravel, Elmer Larson and Martin Marietta Aggregates.

Conmat Inc., Material Service Corporation, Vulcan Materials, Wendling Quarries, Dwyer Portable, Indian Point Quarry, Lincoln Quarry, Lake Villa Rail Yard and Terry Adler Wash Plant also were recognized as multi-year winners.

The convention also included association meetings, seminars and exhibitions.
