Rockford, Ill.-based The Caldwell Group Inc. has launched the Dura-Mod modular spreader beam, a versatile, lightweight alternative to fixed and multiple point below-the-hook solutions up to 170-ton capacity. Dura-Mod, which will be sold solely through the manufacturer's global distributor network, is suited to a multitude of markets including oil and gas, heavy engineering, and crane and equipment rental.

Freres Lumber Co. Inc. is using a 22,500-lb. (11.25-ton) capacity Caldwell Posi-Turner to turn loads at its Mass Plywood Panels facility in Lyons, Ore. The Posi-Turner, which is designed to rotate bulky and hard to handle objects during manufacture or assembly processes, is operated beneath the hook of a 15-ton capacity overhead crane to flip panels in the lumber and timber company's finishing area.

The Caldwell Group Inc. is offering its range of German-manufactured RUD Ring Schraube (RS) machined eyebolts from 220 to 44,090 lbs. capacity. The new VRS Starpoint — the name derives from RUD's VIP program and the product's star shape — features an added adjustable function.

A 37.5-ton capacity mill-duty coil grab has been installed beneath the hook of a 40-ton capacity overhead crane at a Monarch Steel Company Inc. facility in Decatur, Ala. The coil grab was manufactured by The Caldwell Group, a Rockford, Illinois-based company that specializes in both standard and custom lifting equipment.

The Caldwell Group Inc. manufactured a custom lifting product that attaches to a forklift truck to unload steel coils from rail cars at MiTek USA Inc. 's stamping plant in Tampa, Fla. The attachment, supplied by Caldwell distributor Certified Slings & Supply, is known onsite as the master coil lifter.

Rockford, Ill.-based The Caldwell Group Inc. has launched a vertical and turning clamp designed for lifting and turning single curved plate or pipe from horizontal to vertical and vice versa. The model TLC (turning, locking, curved surface), which lifts and turns from zero to 90 degrees, incorporates a vertical lifting clamp featuring a "lock open" and "lock closed" feature, facilitating attachment and removal from the load.

Caldwell's concrete barrier grab quickly places and easily removes concrete barriers — completely hands free. The pressure grip design eliminates man-hours spent attaching chains, increasing overall efficiency and reducing damage to barriers, according to the company.
