Fisher Engineering, the manufacturer of Fisher brand snow removal and ice control equipment, announced Sept. 28, the support of Breast Cancer Awareness month in partnership with SnowEx. During the month of October, Fisher Engineering is running a special promotion featuring limited-edition pink Fisher XV2 v-plows and pink lift arm kits.

Fisher Engineering announced its new Trailblazer UTV V-plow, a professional-grade plow designed specifically for utility vehicles. The Trailblazer plow will be available in the fall of 2016 to snow removal professionals and consumersThe Trailblazer V-plow is a 6 ft.

Fisher Engineering has updated its Poly-Caster hopper spreader. The new features improve the efficiency of the Poly-Caster spreader by making it easier for operators to control and optimize their spreading operations, according to the manufacturer. More efficient material dispersal and greater spread control can now be achieved with the enhanced dual variable-speed control, which is compact in size, fits easily into most trucks and allows operators to change delivery and spread according to conditions.

Once again, this year, Fisher Engineering and SnowEx donated pink versions of their snow and ice control equipment for raffle at GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky., to support breast cancer awareness. Attendees who visited the show Oct. 23 to 24 at the Louisville International Convention Center, could purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a limited edition pink FISHER XV2 V-plow, a pink FISHER lift arm kit or a pink SnowEx SP-7550 spreader.

Due to the popularity of the limited-edition pink lift arm kit promotion to support last year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Fisher Engineering has expanded the promotion this year to include a limited-edition pink XV2 V-plow.

New Holland presented Fisher House Foundation with a check for $57,800 on June 3 during a groundbreaking ceremony for the newest Fisher House, which will open on the grounds of the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The check represented the donation for Fisher House Foundation accrued from New Holland’s 2013 True Blue Salute program.

New Holland Agriculture and Construction announced a donation of $57,800 to the Fisher House Foundation. The funds were generated as part of the True Blue Salute program that ran from Sept. 11 to Nov. 11, 2013. “We’re proud to support the Fisher House Foundation and the great work that they do on behalf of our military families,” said Abe Hughes, vice president, New Holland North America.

The Fisher XTREMEV V-plow features fast hydraulics and the Minute Mount 2 on/off system. The plow is available in 7½ to 9½ ft. (2.3 to 2.9 m) sizes, in stainless or poly-coated steel, and features INTENSIFIRE lights for maximum illumination.

Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. (KPI-JCI) announced the addition of Gary Fisher to the company’s engineering team as a structural design engineer. Fisher, who joined the staff March 12, will work with Project Designer Steve Anderson and the washing product line design group as the product line transitions into a new product line involving fines recovery and dewatering screen technology.

To celebrate the plowing industry in Maine, Fisher Engineering recently gave snowplow operators the opportunity to win a custom-painted “Plow Maine” Fisher XtremeV snowplow. Walter Gogan of Levant, Maine, is the winner. Gogan is the owner of Walt’s Lawn Care, a landscaping and snow removal company that plows both residential and commercial accounts.
