Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. (KPI), Johnson Crushers International (JCI) and Astec Mobile Screens have announced Finkbiner Equipment Company (FEC) as a new dealer of crushing and screening equipment. Finkbiner will market, sell and service KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens products throughout the state of Illinois.

Through charitable employee and community contributions, local manufacturer Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. was able to help in efforts to raise more than $20,000 for employee Linda Stock, who has worked for the company since 1987 in the technical publications department and was diagnosed in July with a blood cancer called Myelodysplastic Syndrome.

After 35,000 miles, 39 states, and nine oil changes, The Road Connection tour officially came to a close in Yankton, S.D. A celebratory rally was held at Kolberg Pioneer Inc. (KPI) headquarters to bring closure to this comprehensive advocacy campaign.

Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. (KPI-JCI) welcomed Chad Renken to its sales and marketing team as a product application specialist. In his new position, Renken will provide support to both domestic and international sales personnel in reviewing aggregate processing opportunities and by proposing the most efficient and economical equipment solutions for the company’s end-user customers.

Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. (KPI-JCI) announced the addition of Gary Fisher to the company’s engineering team as a structural design engineer. Fisher, who joined the staff March 12, will work with Project Designer Steve Anderson and the washing product line design group as the product line transitions into a new product line involving fines recovery and dewatering screen technology.

KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens has released its newest version of “Facts & Figures,” a quick reference guide containing comprehensive general technical information for aggregate and recycle producers, operators, engineers and maintenance personnel of KPI-JCI or equivalent crushing, screening, washing and material handling equipment.

Jeff May has been promoted to the position of vice president of operations of Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. (KPI-JCI). In this position May will be responsible for the management of Kolberg-Pioneer Inc.’s day to day operations and strategic planning. In addition, May will continue in his role as controller for the company as well as his management of the accounting and IT departments and their staffs.
