Bobcat Company has enhanced its compact excavator lineup with the introduction of the R2-Series E60 compact excavator. The R2-Series E60 offers many of the popular benefits of the R-Series compact excavators as well as a long list of enhanced R2-Series features to help customers meet the increasing demands of today's job sites, according to the manufacturer.

Takeuchi-US has added the TB370 compact hydraulic excavator to its lineup. This machine is the first in Takeuchi's 300 series compact excavator line. The TB370 is in the 6- to 7-ton class and is an ideah machine for a wide range of customers, including general contractors, landscapers, utility contractors and the rental industry, according to the manufacturer.

Mecalac, a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of compact construction equipment for urban environments, introduced the 216MRail, a dedicated compact railroad excavator for railway construction and maintenance. The 216MRail features a leading lifting performance-to-weight ratio for efficiency and productivity on the rails.

Takeuchi-US has launched the TB257FR compact hydraulic excavator. The TB257FR features a side-to-side offset boom combined with a tight tail swing enabling it to rotate fully with very little overhang. This makes it ideal for working in a variety of confined job sites including road and bridge work, city streets and in between buildings, according to the manufacturer.

Doosan Infracore North America LLC introduced the new DX42-5K and the DX50-5K mini excavators. The excavators are updates to the prior iterations, featuring new innovations to increase machine performance, versatility, operator comfort and reliability, according to the manufacturer.
