Sullivan-Palatek Inc., Michigan City, Ind., is moving ahead to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing compressor market. The company continues to increase production from its recently constructed state of the art plant where it produces all compressor units in house.

With TIV Final required on diesel 185 size machines starting in 2014, Sullivan-Palatek is introducing a more economical gasoline powered model using an electronically controlled engine. This new technololgy has a fuel burn rate of 3 gal. (11.4 L) per hour matching the current diesel burn rate while using less expensive gasoline.
