Durante Rentals, a leader in construction equipment rentals in the New York area, announced a new addition to its sales management team with the hiring of Damien Rispoli. In his new role, Rispoli will be managing and developing Durante Rentals’ newest location opening in March of 2016.

Rispoli joins Durante Rentals with more than 20 years of industry experience in rentals, sales, training and operational capacities. He has held various positions with major equipment dealerships and manufacturers including operations manager, sales representative and territory manager.

Rispoli’s vast knowledge of the construction industry stems from his upbringing in a diverse family business which encompassed a wide range of industries including hardware, auto parts and repair, lawn and garden equipment, contractor and industrial supply and tool rentals.

“One day as a young boy working the family business, I told my dad I wanted to be the boss. He handed me a broom and told me if I wanted to be the boss I’d have to learn how to sweep the floor first. This fatherly advice encouraged me to learn all facets of the business, from the bottom up. He instilled in me the significance of superior customer service which has stuck with me throughout the years”.
