J.J. Kane Auctioneers conducted a large consolidated construction, power line and utility auction in Verona, Ky., on Oct. 6. More than 300 pieces of construction, forestry, utility and power line equipment, trucks, vehicles, trailers and tools were up for bid on the 37-acre site, leased from Newman Tractor for the sale.

The auction drew an active crowd of bidders vying for the machines from Duke Energy and Asplundh Tree Expert Co., as well as area utility contractors and national utility equipment companies.
