JLG Industries Inc. announced organizational changes that will strengthen its global sales, service and marketing organizations. As part of the announced changes, Tim Morris has been promoted to the position of senior vice president — sales, marketing and customer support. In this new role, Morris will lead the development and execution of global distribution, customer support and brand management strategies. In doing so, he will work closely with the respective marketing, sales and customer support leaders in developing an integrated, global vision and strategy for JLG.
JLG also announced the promotion of Chris Mellott to the position of vice president — market development and sales — Americas. Reporting directly to Morris, Mellott will be responsible for all sales, customer service and ground support aftermarket services for the Americas.

Most recently Morris was the vice president of market development and sales for the Americas with responsibility for sales and customer support for the north, central and south American regions. His strong background in market and channel development has seen JLG through many distribution and market changes, including the consolidation of the rental industry and the acquisition and integration of multiple telehandler product lines.
Mellott began his career with JLG in 1995 and has held multiple management positions within various departments, most recently as the vice president, ground support. He has experience in product management, field sales and service management.
