JLG Industries, Inc. has announced that it has sold its first 1500AJP, the world's tallest articulating boom lift, to Riwal during Bauma 2016 at the Messe München exhibition center in Munich, Germany.

“We wish to congratulate Riwal on its purchase of this one-of-a-kind and industry-leading boom lift, which represents JLG's long history of innovation in machine design and manufacturing”, says Frank Nerenhausen, President of JLG Industries.

“As a leading aerial work platform rental and sales specialist, we strive to deliver the best customer experience in the industry. With this investment in the first 1500AJP we continue to offer an innovative and even broader equipment range,” says Norty Turner, Riwal CEO. “The investment supports our drive to provide our customers with the most advanced solutions available.”

The new 1500AJP articulating boom lift features a category-leading work envelope of more than 74,000 cubic meters of reachable space, a working outreach of 23.5 meters, and a platform capacity of 270 kilograms unrestricted and 450 kilograms restricted, allowing operators to reach more work space and take more materials with them than any other articulating boom lift. The lift also leads the industry in lift speeds—2 minutes 15 seconds to move from the ground to maximum platform height—allowing operators to spend more time working and less time positioning the machine.
