Joey Martin Wraps Up 2018 Auctions in Carrollton, Georgia

Joey Martin Auctioneers wrapped up its 2018 auction schedule with a big sale at its Carrollton, Ga., location on Dec. 7.

Despite intermittent rain and cold temperatures, the sale attracted a huge onsite crowd and a rather substantial online presence as well. The Carrollton auctions appear to be growing bigger and bigger with every sale and becoming one of west Georgia's premier equipment auctions.

A quality lineup of machines featured construction and support equipment, compact machines, trucks, trailers, miscellaneous items, and much more.

Discussing their thoughts on a Deere 350D LC about to go on the auction block are Russell Wood (L) and his wife, Tracy Wood, of Long Cane Land Clearing, Donalds, S.C.

Checking out a Cat D8R dozer of interest are Brian Yancey (L) and Betty Moody (and her dog, Little Rascal) of Contour Grading, Loganville, Ga.

Reading up on some of the miscellaneous items of common interest are Brandon Caldwell (L) of Proven Solutions, Newnan, Ga., and Charles Davis, independent contractor, also based in Newnan, Ga.

Awaiting the auctioning of the dozers are Jody Bennet (L) and Clint Benefield of Pro Source Utility Contractors, Bowden Junction, Ga.

Cruising the auction lot in their Honda Pioneer four-wheeler are Missy Hargis (L), with her pup, DJ, and Jason Collins of Jason Collins Construction, Jasper, Tenn.

Registered bidders swarm around the auction truck as the sale gets under way on Dec. 7.

There is always a nice selection of late-model, mid-sized excavators at the Joey Martin Auctioneers sale in Carrollton.
