John Deere is expanding its portfolio of aftermarket forestry saw teeth options with the introduction of its new, patented no-shank hardened beaver saw teeth.
Designed for operators working in demanding logging environments, these new teeth help maintain cutting performance while providing enhanced durability in rocky and abrasive conditions.
"Loggers often work in remote areas, so every hour of uptime matters in the woods and the components operators rely on every day play an important role in keeping machines productive," said Bill Borrenpohl, aftermarket product manager, forestry, John Deere. "Our new no-shank hardened beaver saw teeth are engineered to strike the right balance between cutting-edge performance and durability, helping customers stay productive."
The new no-shank design features a patented machined tooth tip engineered to help reduce chipping caused by impact with rocks, dirt and other abrasive materials.
Available in three kerf sizes, including 2-5/16-in., 2-7/16-in. and 2-1/2-in., the teeth are compatible with competitive wide-kerf no-shank (shankless) saw blades using 1-in. bolts and are offered in kits of either 18 or 20 teeth.
The addition expands the growing lineup of John Deere forestry saw tooth solutions, giving customers another option to match their application, operating conditions and budget. Like the rest of the John Deere saw tooth portfolio, the no-shank hardened beaver teeth have been field-tested by operators across North America's toughest rocky conditions to help deliver dependable performance and long service life across a variety of logging applications, according to the company.
