Joseph Kenneth LaCamera Dies at Age 50

Mr. LaCamera will be remembered for his generous heart, fun loving spirit and his devotion to his two dogs Lucky and Chance.

Joseph Kenneth LaCamera, age 50, of Waltham, Mass., died on Jan. 6, 2014. The son of John J. LaCamera Jr. and the late Ann M LaCamera, Mr. LaCamera also was the brother of Kari Roads, Christine Burnett, Carolyn Anderson, Michele LaCamera and the late Diane LaCamera and uncle to Justin and Koriana Burnett, Ryan and Thomas Roads and Brandan and Megan Anderson.

Mr. LaCamera was a three-sport athlete at St. Sebastian’s High School and attended one of Boston’s hockey “Hot Bed.” After graduation, he continued to pursue a hockey career in Toronto. Following this endeavor he chose to enter the family business, Contractors Equipment Guide, where his principal duties were office administrator and advertising sales. He remained there until the company was sold in 2007.

Mr. LaCamera will be remembered for his generous heart, fun loving spirit and his devotion to his two dogs Lucky and Chance. There will be a spring memorial mass to celebrate his life.
