On Nov. 6, King of Prussia Equipment Corp., in conjunction with Multiquip-Whiteman, conducted a complimentary one-day service school on Whiteman ride-on trowels.

Tommy Tucker, field service manager of Multiquip-Whiteman, instructed the class at the King of Prussia, PA, facility.

Approximately 25 attendees, consisting of owners, mechanics and finishers from Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey, participated in the class.

A few of the companies that participated in the service school were Mega Construction, Philadelphia; Forcine, Malvern, PA; Tri State, Millville, NJ; Healy, Long and Jevin, Wilmington, DE; Schlouch Contracting, Blandon, PA; and Neuber Concrete, Kimberton, PA.

Class began at 8 a.m. and ended at 3 p.m. Attendees learned about the proper maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of various Whiteman ride-on power trowels and walk-behind power trowels.

There were several models on display and available for hands-on training, including the Whiteman STX hydrostatic trowel.

The STX Series, with a span of 10 ft. for maximum coverage, also sports an exclusive six-blade “spider” driven by a John Deere turbo engine.

As with past service schools held by King of Prussia Equipment Corp., each attendee walked away from the class with a better understanding of the Whiteman ride-on and walk-behind power trowels.
