World Rentals LLC, owned by Cruz and Roy Rodriguez, has opened a Volvo CE Rents center at 1441 SW 33rd Place, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

The rental center is an independently owned and operated Volvo Construction Equipment Rents franchise within the Volvo Construction Equipment rental program. The Volvo CE Rents center will carry, in addition to Volvo construction equipment, a comprehensive line of essential equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets. Principal Volvo products for its independently owned and operated rental franchises include compact excavators and wheel loaders and backhoe and skid steer loaders.

The Volvo CE Rents franchise program covers all aspects of an operating rental business model and was designed and developed by Volvo Construction Equipment Rents Inc., for a specific and unique market in the equipment rental business. Program features include use of the Volvo brand, financial assistance, a fleet purchasing program for non-Volvo products, a Volvo proprietary software program, training, facility design, safety training and procedures, and regional and local marketing.

Volvo CE Rents, which began its equipment rental franchise in 2001, now has 36 equipment rental centers open in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, California, Tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana, New York, Minnesota, Arkansas, New Jersey, Alabama and Kentucky.
