League Lists Most Dangerous Jobs for Youth

AP) The following jobs are the leading causes of death and serious injury among young workers, according to the National Consumers League:

_Driver/operator of forklifts or tractors.

_Working alone and working late at night in restaurants and retail stores subject

to robbery.

_Construction laborer. Deaths are often caused by falls, electrocution,

transportation and being struck by objects.

_Working on ladders and scaffolds.

_Youths who sell candy, magazine subscriptions and other items door-to-door or on street corners unsupervised by adults.
