The LeeBoy 8500 conveyor asphalt paver gives contractors and government agencies a maneuverable, durable paver that will lay down a quality mat in applications from street and subdivision roads to driveways and parking lots. Powered by a 74-hp (55 kW) Hatz Silent Pack diesel engine with two-speed hydrostatic drive, the 8500 features an 8- to 15-ft. (2.4 to 4.6 m) Legend heated and vibrating screed system. A Legend electric screed heat option is available and eliminates the need for screed burners and propane.

The LeeBoy 8500 features hydraulic screed extensions, unique to the LeeBoy heated and vibrating Legend screed system. The extensions are mounted in front of the main screed and easily adjustable. Its under-auger cut-off plates make for clean starts and stops. The 8500 comes in either high deck or low deck configuration.

The 8500 also features a hydraulically raised hopper bed, allowing the paver undercarriage and tracks to be easily cleaned and serviced. The 7.5-ton (6.8 t) receiving hopper has hydraulically folding wings and feeds the paver with dual 36-in. (91 cm) feeding conveyors.
