LJ Crane & Rigging Takes the Field at Fenway Park

December 11, 2007 - Northeast Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

The Boston Red Sox have started upgrading Fenway Park, and not just with another World Series banner. The largest part of the project is the addition of 800 seats in the expanded State Street Pavilion and tickets in the “Standing Room Corner” near the left-field foul pole. Other planned improvements include eight new private suites, waterproofing in the bleachers area, linear scoreboards and structural upgrades.

LJ Crane & Rigging’s Manitowoc 2250 crawler crane and Grove GMK 90-ton hydraulic mobile crane are on the Fenway job site working for CAPCO steel, installing the seating and the suites.
