John Mahnen, founder of Mahnen Machinery Inc., passed away Nov. 4. Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 8 at St. Bartholomew church.

Mahnen, 69, incorporated Mahnen Machinery as a used equipment yard in 1978.

Today, the company is a multi-store John Deere dealer also representing Interstate and Pro-Tech, with five locations in northeast Ohio.

Mahnen, however, always stayed in used equipment where he had his roots.

John’s sons, Larry and Mark, continue the business as Mahnen Machinery.
