Looking over this Basic motorgrader are (L-R) Brian Mullins, Mickey Bond and Bob Birchfield, all of Quality Garbage Co., Norton, Va. Wayne Griffin, Griffin Grading, Wingate, N.C., came to the sale hoping to get a few scrapers for an upcoming project. He looked over the available machines and found a few that suited his needs. Todd McCormick, Bowman Hardware, Marshall, N.C., needed a few buckets to offer his customers. The sale included a good selection of excavators ranging from less than 10,000 to more than 100,000 lbs. Jason Payne (L), Atkinson Truck Sales, Chatham, Va., confers with Ross McMillan Jr. during a pause in the sale. Joey Martin (L), reads off a few particulars regarding a sale item while Kevin McGee posts the next machine on the internet for live bidding.

Martin & Martin Auctioneers Inc. held its annual Spring Contractors Auction March 28 and 29 at its Pelzer, S.C., facility.

Day one included trucks, trailers and related items while day two featured construction and farm equipment.
