BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) MDU Resources Group Inc. has purchased a Cheyenne, Wyo., aggregate producer.
The Bismarck-based energy, mining and construction company said Star Aggregates Inc. will become part of the Knife River Corp.
Knife River is MDU’s construction materials and mining subsidiary.
Terms of the deal announced Aug. 31 were not disclosed.
Terry Hildestad, MDU president and chief executive officer, said the company plans to continue acquiring businesses to increase its presence in the construction materials industry.
