Modern Machinery, the Komatsu distributor, has hired Ryan Johnson as the new territory manager in Pocatello, Idaho. In his new position, Johnson is responsible for overseeing eastern Idaho and two counties in Wyoming.

“We welcome Ryan to Modern,” said Lamont Cantrell, vice president of sales at Modern Machinery. “He brings enthusiasm, energy and technical strengths to the company. We expect him to have a major impact on our customer base.”

Johnson has worked in the heavy machinery industry for over 10 years, most recently at Komatsu Equipment in Utah. Johnson indicated that his favorite part of the job is helping entrepreneurs with their equipment needs and watching their businesses grow.
