More Than 1,600 Bidders Participate in Auction in Newman

More than 1,600 bidders participated online or in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Atlanta on Dec. 7.

Bidders came from 45-plus countries, including 47 U.S. states. More than 80 percent of the equipment and trucks was sold to buyers outside the state, from as far away as Fiji, Ghana, Japan, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased 37 percent of the equipment lots sold in the auction.

The auction featured more than 1,000 equipment items and trucks, including 40-plus hydraulic excavators, 30-plus crawler tractors, 15-plus skid steer loaders, 15-plus loader backhoes, 15-plus wheel loaders, 15-plus truck tractors and more than 40 pickup trucks.
